Iron Mountain Education Fund

The John Jamison Iron Mountain Education Fund exists to encourage and recognize scholastic achievement. The fund was founded in 2004 as a way to help the children of Iron Mountain employees pursue their goals in higher education.

Dates:

• Application period starts on April 4th, 2023.
• The Deadline to Apply is May 19th, 2023.

Awards:

Scholarship awards of $2,000 (USD) will be awarded to selected applicants. Awards are for undergraduate study only.

Eligibility:

Applicants to The John Jamison Iron Mountain Education Fund must be:

• Dependent^* children, up to age 24, of full-time employees at the Director level and below who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date.
  ^*Dependent children are defined as natural or legally adopted children or dependent stepchildren primarily supported by the employee (the employee provides more than 1/2 of the child’s total support during the calendar year.)
• Children of deceased employees are also eligible if the full-time employee was classified as Director level or below at the time of death.
• High school/secondary school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled, in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

The scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals.
